Collection: Cristina Guerrero

Cristina Guerrero is a Spanish contemporary artist. In her paintings, figures, animals and everyday objects are brought together through similarities of colour, shape and gesture. Alongside painting on canvas, her practice includes industrial materials and light. For film and television, these paintings can help tell the story of a space and the person who inhabits it. Their subjects, colours and pairings can suggest character, mood or what is unfolding in a scene. They can offer clues to a character's psychology, or enrich a moment through humour and poetry. With a career spanning more than two decades, Guerrero has exhibited across Europe and the United States.
